Audited before publishing this page: today CheckinSecure only uses first-party cookies that are strictly necessary or functional -- no analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies. That's why this page doesn't include a consent banner: it wouldn't give you any real control, and a banner with nothing to consent to would just be confusing.
Cookies we use today
- Session cookie (
hbb_session, first-party, strictly necessary): keeps you logged in to the owner/manager panel. Deleted on logout or expires after 30 days. - OwnGuests hand-off cookie (
hbb_sso_state, first-party, strictly necessary): only when you open your Direct Website from your account; it protects that step and expires after 5 minutes. - Language cookies (
hbb_marketing_lang,hbb_owner_lang,hbb_lang; first-party, functional; 1 year): remember whether you prefer the site in Spanish or English. The first two are saved when you choose a language;hbb_langis saved by the guest registration form when it opens, to keep the guest's language during registration.
The browser also keeps in its local storage (not cookies, never sent to anyone): a marker to close your other tabs at once when you log out, and, in the guest form, the registration identifier so it can be resumed.
What we don't use
We don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising or third-party tracking cookie.

If we add analytics or marketing that requires non-essential cookies in the future, we'll ask for your explicit consent before enabling them and update this page.
